The challenge of four women, from three different states, coordinating their schedules to create a top entertaining quartet would seem impossible to most people, but these are four uncommon women who chose to overcome all of those logistic challenges to enjoy singing together... and that forms the basis for CABARET.

This uncommon and unique union began when Pam, Holly, and Donna performed together as part of two specific public relations tours to China in 2002 and 2003. Both tours were organized to help spread the love of barbershop singing to yet another part of the world. These three thoroughly enjoyed each other's company, and shared some pretty special experiences... so much so that all they had to do was find someone "crazy enough" to be the fourth part of this special quartet - so, they contact Patty, a world renown Sweet Adeline tenor.

Patty Friedemann sang with the 1987 International Championship quartet Ginger 'n Jazz. She and her husband Frank (tenor of Eureka) live in Catoosa, Oklahoma. Patty is assistant director for the Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus and is a member of the Region 25 faculty. Patty and Frank have one son, Michael who is married to Raye, and are proud grandparents of their first grandchild, Jaxon. They also share their home with a special Springer Spaniel... Maggie.

Singing the lead part for Cabaret is Pam Lauffer. She and her husband live in Kennedale, Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. When she is not singing with Cabaret, Pam gives voice lessons and is a member of the Richtones Chorus and a Region 25 faculty member. Pam and Mike have two grown children, and four wonderfully bright and talented grandchildren.

Holly Beck sings baritone with Cabaret. Holly works as a copyright administrator of vocal arrangements. Holly serves as a member of the music faculty for the Sweet Adelines Region 25, as do Patty and Pam, and also sings in the Richtones Chorus. Holly and Brian live in Flower Mound, Texas area and continue coaching Barbershop and Sweet Adelines quartets and choruses around the globe. She is married to Brian (bass of Eureka), has grown children, and 5 grandkids!!

Singing bass is Donna Kready from Topeka, Kansas. She is a middle school counselor. Like Patty, Donna too has been privileged to win the International Sweet Adelines Quartet Championship in 1997 singing bass in Classic Edition. Like the other three members of Cabaret, Donna has a family heritage of singing barbershop music (four generations). Donna also sings with the Sunflower Harmony Chorus in Topeka and is a bass section leader. She lives with her new addition to her family, "Mable", a cute little 9 pound ShihPoo.

If laughter and the joy of singing together is any indication of how unique these four women are, this is going to be an exceptionally fun ride... all successes along the way will just be a bonus on this journey. Now... let's sit back, relax, and enjoy the CABARET show!
